WINEMAKER NOTES

A lively and complex Bordeaux-style white wine. Enticing aromas of lemon meringue and subtle herbs with a scattering of crushed seashell. The silky yet impossibly refreshing palate follows with crisp asian pear, sweet basil, tart highlights of Granny Smith apple, and hints of white pepper. Smooth and fresh with a provocative accent of grapefruit granita on the finish.

ABOUT THE VINEYARD

The storied Wildwood Vineyard nestles into the scenic hills of Sonoma Valley. Originally planted in 1882 and tended by the Kunde family since 1904, Wildwood’s history with Sémillon is deeply rooted within the winemaking fabric of the region. While plantings of the grape remain rare in California, it features prominently in Wildwood’s history as it received an honorable mention at the Panama Pacific Exposition as far back as 1915.
