2016 Conspiracy Theory
Deceptively approachable, this wine suggests complexities below the surface. Every sip reveals more questions than answers. With limited production, demands will mount for the government to release its secret reserves. Intriguing aromas of baking spice and tanned leather belie a palate of berries and red fruit, while whispers of graphite suffuse a clean finish.
40% Petite Sirah, 25% Syrah, 14% Malbec, 11% Sangiovese, 10% Zinfandel
Life can defy explanation sometimes, and so can wine. Conspiracy Theory is an unlikely wine that called for an unlikely label, and wouldn't you know it, the illuminati were no help whatsoever. We turned to an algorithm to find connections where none existed, and the pattern was pleasing, but we grasped for its meaning. So, we went searching for ground zero in the world of theories and found there were several — Area 51, Paramount Studios, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, to name a few. The coordinates of those sites infiltrated our algorithm, and mysteriously, our art took on a life of its own. This enigmatic wine now has a beautiful if unlikely explanation, a graphic display of the role Conspiracy Theory plays in our minds and in our wine glasses.
