Reading Between The Wines
For geeks who love to read while sipping and sip while reading, our parent winery, The Wine Foundry, features "Reading Between the Wines,” a wine-centric book club for winos and literary lushes. Based in Napa Valley, we welcome you to pop a cork and join the discussion through online gatherings, now on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
Click on the link below to join the club. Participation is free, no purchase necessary, tune in for one or all sessions. Click on the title or the image to purchase the book from Amazon, or purchase from your local bookseller. If you would like to taste along, check out our recommended wine for each session from the Anarchist and Foundry collections.

by Nick Jackson
The book offers detailed descriptions of the key attributes of major grape varieties and wine producing regions, and argues that assessing a wine's structure - acid structure in white wines and tannin structure in red wines - is a more reliable indicator of a wine's identity than the traditional reliance on flavour.
